A Friendly Musical Opportunity

ABOUT HOLIDAY MUSIC
Holiday Music is a wonderful and highly enjoyable opportunity to meet, play and collaboratively improve one’s musicianship, working with others who are similarly passionate about music in a holiday setting. The course was founded by pianist Muriel Levin in 1990 with the aim of addressing musical confidence and performance anxiety as well as simply gathering those who say, ‘let’s play music together’. Under her wise direction, and subsequently that of Danielle Salamon (also a pianist), the course has gone from strength to strength. It is now continuing under the direction of Claire Smith, a pianist attendee of many years who has been inspired by the course’s sense of community and its recurring population of like-minded musicians with ability ranges ‘across-the-board’.
